Fur‑st Responder Animal Rescue is a volunteer‑run organization built by a remarkable team of individuals who combine two powerful callings: a deep history in animal rescue and rehabilitation, in addition to years of service to their communities as first responders. The team takes great pride in thoughtfully matching dogs with adopters who truly fit their needs, personalities, and future. Their commitment doesn’t end when a dog goes home—if anything, that’s where the relationship begins. They continue to support, guide, and celebrate with their adopters long after the adoption day has passed.

Fur‑st Responder Animal Rescue has also built a strong partnership with the Bahamas Humane Society, allowing them to begin the matching process even before dogs arrive at Pearson International Airport. These relationships help ensure that each animal’s journey is safe, supported, and filled with hope from the very start.
